Tom Wright is principally active in the Aerospace & Defence and the Travel & Tourism industries. Previously he worked for 27 years with The Swire Group and Cathay Pacific Airways in senior roles around the globe. At one point he was responsible for 15,000 of the airline’s personnel and at another for the entire inflight experience.

Tom brings with him a lifetime of working in people-orientated environments and a firm conviction that putting the right person in the right leadership role makes the ultimate difference to any organisation. His global exposure has given him an appreciation of working across borders and with all nationalities and cultures. He is himself a truly international leader who has lived and worked in countries from the Middle East, Europe, Asia and North America. His favourite cities to live and work in are Mumbai, San Francisco, Hong Kong, Rome and now London.

Tom started his career in the British Army and his more exotic postings included being a company commander in the Western Front Regiment of the Sultan of Oman’s Forces and Aide-de-Camp to the Chief of the Defence Staff. Tom now lives in North Oxfordshire, not far from a noted brewery! His passions, other than his family, are an eclectic taste in music, exploring wild places and food from around the world. Tom was educated at Durham University and has attended several executive courses at the INSEAD Business School, including the Advanced Management Programme. He is also a board member and Trustee for the UK military charity Help for Heroes and the Indian educational charity, Muktangan.
