Jenny King DPhil, CPsychol, AFBPsS, FRCP (Edin)

Jenny is a director of our associate company Pendleton King Ltd.

Jenny has worked as a highly experienced occupational psychologist with the medical professionals, individual leaders and teams within the NHS for over 30 years. As a result of her contribution to the field of medical appraisal and doctors’ performance, Jenny was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh (FRCP) in 2013. Following over 20 years professional work Jenny began to focus on developing her coaching practice, working towards a Postgraduate Diploma in Executive Coaching at Ashridge Hult International Business School. Jenny also has extensive experience in working at senior levels within corporate organisations internationally, in both blue-chip companies and established multi-nationals.

Assessing leadership potential, troubleshooting in clinical teams and developing team working is Jenny’s speciality and she has been a behavioural assessor for the National Clinical Assessment Service since 2002. With a long history of working with leaders and clinicians in the NHS (covering nearly every medical speciality), Jenny is well placed to understand a variety of challenges whether in the clinical, educational or managerial arena.

Now working almost exclusively as an Executive coach, Jenny continues to provide psychological assessments for developing leaders. She is currently coaching several senior individuals within the NHS and the corporate sectors who are moving into new and demanding leadership roles. Jenny has a proven track record of enabling leaders to develop greater self-awareness, personal impact and influencing skills, as well as setting strategic direction and successfully delivering results both individually and through their teams.

Jenny holds a Doctorate in Psychology from Oxford University and is an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society. She is a former Associate Fellow of Oxford Said Business School.
