Tom Lethaby
Sector involvement: Consumer – Technology
Tom Lethaby is from the wine trade via an executive MBA at Henley Business School, a background that has given him an interest in consumer markets and in the technology that is now an inherent part of them. The interest in technology was sparked off by his time at UCL where his undergraduate degree was in Electronics and Telecommunications. His widening interests in business generally took him to a Certificate in Business Accounting from the Chartered Institute of Management Accounting before finally undertaking his MBA. Tom joined Hill Coates because of its consultative approach and the possibility of looking at the business world in a wider and more strategic context. He is principally active with our Pathfinder Executives and in assessing investee companies prior to introducing them to private equity firms and private investors. Tom also works closely with Simon Hill, Hill Coates’ Managing Consultant, on business development and strategy.
Tom lives in Oxfordshire with his wife and young family. His chief leisure interest is sailing and he completed the internationally renowned Fastnet Race in 2015.
