David Innes OBE DL

Sector Activity: Business & Professional Services – Board Services – Public Sector, Not-for-Profit & Education

David Innes works in the Business & Professional Services sector practice. This follows 14 years working for the London law firm of Bircham Dyson Bell where, starting as Director of Administration, he went on to lead business development and client services. David led the recruitment of key officers as well as the retention of major clients. He managed the relocation of the firm in London and the practical aspects of the takeover of two other law firms. He led the first drive to win accreditation of the firm’s processes under a formal quality standard.

Away from work and following his earlier military career, David held the honorary position of Lieutenant of The Queen’s Bodyguard of the Yeomen of the Guard. This saw him take part in several state occasions a year, including searching the cellars of the Parliament for any latter-day Guy Fawkes, usually wearing an impressive feathered hat! David is also a Deputy Lieutenant for the County of Hampshire
